The assessment is step one — and it’s included
Every job starts with a proper diagnosis. We connect professional diagnostic gear, read the fault codes and regeneration history, and check live DPF data to find out why the filter blocked — not just that it’s blocked. Then we confirm the filter is safe to clean before any cleaning goes ahead. That diagnose-first approach is why our cleans last, and it’s all part of the $850 — there’s no separate assessment fee.
We’ll tell you if it isn’t worth cleaning
We diagnose the filter before we clean it. If the assessment shows the core is cracked, melted or completely ash-bound, we’ll tell you up front rather than press on with a clean that clearly won’t take. For most blocked filters the diagnosis confirms cleaning is worth doing, and it restores flow for a fraction of the cost of a replacement. No clean can be guaranteed on every filter, but starting with a proper diagnosis is how we keep the surprises to a minimum.
