Our on-vehicle DPF cleaning process

A 2-part chemical clean & flush performed at your location — no removal, no oven, no replacement.

Step 1. Diagnostic Assessment

We connect professional diagnostic equipment to read DPF soot levels, regeneration history and fault codes — so we know exactly what’s causing the blockage.

Step 2. Chemical DPF Cleaning

We introduce a 2-part chemical Clean & Flush system to dissolve the carbon build-up. As the carbon reduces, DPF pressure returns to tolerable conditions.

Step 3. Forced Regeneration

With carbon and pressure reduced, we run a forced DPF regeneration through diagnostic software to complete the clean and verify the filter is working correctly.

Step 4. System Reset & Verification

We clear fault codes, reset the DPF counters and verify normal operation. Your vehicle returns to full power with the warning light off.

It’s all done on your vehicle — no removal, no oven cleaning, no replacement parts. Off-vehicle oven cleaning requires removing the filter and takes your vehicle off the road for a day or more.
The $650 covers the clean, diagnostic, regen and reset. If a filter is cracked, melted or ash-bound and can’t be cleaned, we tell you before any charge — the flat price only applies to a cleanable DPF.

Is it worth getting a DPF cleaned?

In almost every case, yes. At $650 our clean is a fraction of the $2,000–$10,000+ cost of a replacement filter. The only time it isn’t worth it is when the filter is physically damaged or completely ash-bound — and we’ll tell you that up front.

Can a fully blocked DPF be cleaned?

Often, yes — a heavily blocked filter can usually be restored if the core isn’t cracked, melted or full of ash. We confirm whether yours is safe to clean during the diagnostic.

How long does it take?

Can I clean my DPF myself?

You can try a highway drive or an additive for light soot, but if the light’s on, the car’s in limp mode, or a regen has failed, you need a proper diagnosis and on-car clean.

No — removing or disabling a DPF is illegal for registered on-road vehicles in Queensland and across Australia, and can attract fines. Cleaning restores the filter legally, which is what we do.
